Who We Are
We are a growing Anglican Church in North Atlanta that exists to become a sign of God’s beauty, goodness, and truth for the sake of our city.

Our Values
Beauty
-
We use sacred art, icons, incense, processional crosses, chalices, etc. in our worship to connect us with the reality of God’s beauty.
-
Our worship, sermons, and teachings are intended for a wide cross section of the community as opposed to trying reach one particular group.
-
We encourage people to seek a deeper experience of God’s presence.
Goodness
-
We offer God our time, talents, skills, and financial resources for the building up of the parish and for the blessing of our neighbors.
-
We encourage every member to serve in a least one capacity inside and outside the church.
-
Our weekly Sunday morning worship is our highest priority (Hebrews 10:25).
Truth
-
We invite every member of church into
the life-long processes of Catechesis and Spiritual Formation. -
We worship in the ancient liturgical pattern of the early Church.
-
We invite others to join us in our journey to becoming more like Christ.
Three Streams of Worship
At Incarnation, we reflect a “three streams” approach to worship. It is our conviction that this approach encourages humility, maturity, and a healthy appreciation for diversity.
-
When we say that we are “evangelical” we mean that we take seriously God’s command to speak about and live like Jesus. We preach and teach from the Bible because we believe it is the inspired word of God, and our desire is for all people to enter into a saving relationship with Jesus.
-
When we say that we are “charismatic” we mean that we believe God is present and active among His people. We anticipate the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the church for the conviction of sin, the illumination of truth, and the restoration of all things.
-
When we say that we are “catholic” we mean that we value the longevity of historic tradition, the rhythms of the church calendar, the consistency of a lectionary-based teaching plan, and our connection to the global Church.

The Creeds
Creeds are statements of our basic beliefs about God. The term comes from the Latin credo, meaning I believe. The Church has two foundational creeds: the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed. In confessing these creeds, we join Christians across the world and throughout the ages in affirming our faith in the one God who creates us, redeems us, and sanctifies us.
Outreach
Our very name—Incarnation—means that we desire to be present with our neighbors, our city, and our world in a way that embodies care, kindness, and justice.

Leadership
Leadership at Incarnation is comprised of internal staff and a host of volunteers that lead the church in various ways each week.
Incarnation is also supported by a vestry—a group of elected lay leaders who work with leadership to manage the temporal affairs of the church, overseeing its mission, finances, and property.
