What did Jesus mean when he proclaimed “the gospel”? What did his first-century hearers understand when he spoke about the kingdom of God? And how does Jesus’ message shape the way we understand and live out our faith today?

Beginning September 13 at 9:00am, join us before the service for The Gospel According to Jesus, a four-week catechesis class. Together, we’ll explore the Gospel of Matthew and discover how Jesus’ announcement of the kingdom of God is the fulfillment of Israel’s story, the context for his teaching and miracles, and both a present reality and future hope.
